AGS Airports has signed fresh three-year contracts with Scottish water merchant Business Stream for the source of wastewater and water services in Britain for three of its airports.
UK-based AGS Airports owns Aberdeen International Airport Glasgow Airport and Southampton Airport.
Business Stream has secured a new source contract for Southampton Airport, also has expanded its existing contracts.
AGS Airports procurement group head Maureen Jamieson said: “Business Stream’s providers and account management support allow us to deal with the airport’s water systems smoothly and economically.
“As a business dedicated to reducing our impact on the surroundings, we are also taking advantage of the technology and expertise to identify and control opportunities for cutting water usage.”
The new deal comes after the opening of the 2.5bn English retail water market in April, which enabled 1.2 million businesses and public bodies across England to select their water supplier.
